We have made it through the winter. The January weather caused us to close a few weekends. Also, Mrs. Grable’s hospitalization put a lot of added work on Larry Benson to keep the Museum open, for which we are most grateful. However, we are looking forward to the spring and summer events. Chautauqua - Henry Clay One event that is coming up on April 20 th is another Chautauqua Presentation by Kevin Hardesty. We are able to obtain this wonderful performance through the Kentucky


2nd Quarter Newsletter: October - December
Halloween Fun! Over the last six years the Museum’s friendly Skeletons: Dead Fred, Laughing Larry, and Little Louie, their dog, have had encounters with the remains of David Sheely, Lucinda Boyd and Death Valley Scotty. When the Museum volunteers close up at the end of the day, these “visitors” have been captured by Museum cameras roaming around the Museum and interacting with Museum displays. Although evidence of this phenomenon has been posted on the Museum’s Facebook Page


1st Quarter Newsletter: July-September
Our 11th Great Museum Treasure Hunt successfully concluded the last week of July with 100 K-12 student participants who made 280 visits....
