Rohs Theatre History

HarriCyn Junior History Club members got a real treat at their March meeting this morning. Club Team Leader Will Lucky led the members on an architectural tour of the Rohs Theatre building, where our museum currently resides. Will shared information on collected artifacts from the theater, discussed the layout of the theater from both inside and outside the building, showed how the movie screen was raised and lowered in the “fly” area of the theatre, and descended with members to the basement where the orchestra pit and raked seating are now barely visible in the buildings lower level.
